Justify My Love

After seeing Madonna's cameo on Saturday Night Live with Lady Gaga, and it got me to look for images of when she first came out. First of all, Madonna is pretty tiny, and her muscles are off the hook even though sometimes they can be a little scary...she is still damn hot. I started looking for older images of Madonna back in the 90s and the pics from her Justify My Love video definitely showed her sex appeal...I miss her Marilyn Monroe hair and thick eyebrows. I'm loving the short bobs lately, like old hollywood with rich red lips. Luvs it...B

Pom Poms

Found this cute little F21 pom pom hair tie and realized the inspiration was from DVF's Fall 2009 pom pom hat after seeing this clipping in Harpers Bazaar. Sorta into it...B

Loving Lanvin

Alber Elbaz killed it this Spring 2010 collection for Lanvin. I want every look now...they're all powerful women in beautifully structured clothes, with sequin and ruched detailing and the power shoulders are still around. The jewelry was heavy and loaded on all the looks in different ways, tons of stacked bracelets or cuffs, huge necklaces, and anklet detailing on all the shoes. I die...B

Furry Moment

With this being the first cold Fall week of the season, I have completely switched modes into looking for Fall/Winter accessories. I just bought a +J army green coat from Uniqlo's Jil Sander line, and now I'm looking for the perfect accessories to match. This faux fur hood from Urban Outfitters is perfect for layering when you need a hood on cold days during the winter. And it doesn't add bulk like a hoodie under a jacket, and who doesn't love the look a hood hanging out. luvs...B

+J

Jil Sander debuted her line today for Uniqlo called +J. Since I work around the corner from Uniqlo, I figured I would pop in around 11ish to let the crowd die down from opening their doors at 10am, which I did for Alexander Wang, Steven Alan etc. However, this time around, my timing did not work. There was a line halfway down the block reaching the storefront of Dean & Deluca! No way did I have the time or patience for that...oh well...I guess I'll just have to wait to see the reactions from other ambitious bloggers. xo, B

Boots Galore

Just spent a lovely evening with my bestie Te...started the night at Lord & Taylor's for a little retail therapy. The subject of the night was to find fab boots for Te (but she wasn't the only one that walked out with a pair)! The above pictured peep toe booties are my absolute fave, and she ended up purchasing them. I'm totally jealous, but they fit her little foot way better, my foot looked wide and stumpy. At least someone got them! There are so many boots I love, Fall is my fave season. xo, B

Te and I both got these bad boys...and the leather is so yummy!

What better way to finish off the night than with Baja Fresh fish tacos and nachos...Amazing night!!

Parisi Bakery

Parisi Bakery is the most amazing bakery/delicatessen! The bread is fresh and soft, and if you go around lunch time there will be a line out the door for a sandwich. They close when they run out of bread, so they usually last until the early afternoon. It's a mom & pop type shop, where they have customers that they know on a first name basis and the local fire and police dept stop by on a regular basis. It's definitely an indulgent lunch that can't be had on a daily basis, but once in a while it's amazing. The sandwiches are huge, you can definitely share. Check out this local spot on Mott St between Spring and Kenmare. xo, B

Personal fave, chicken cutlet, roasted peppers and mozzarella on a whole wheat hero

Proscuitto, mozzarella on a roll
