Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Not a huge V-day fan, but had such a great weekend, that it's put me in a great and restful mood. So I've been lagging with my posts lately...they've been few and far between...and there is so much going on with NY fashion week now in full swing. I will definitely be recapping my fave looks and have a couple fun trips planned to dress up and shop for. Winter blues go away...time for some fun! xo, B

Tragic

I'm stunned to write that the design genius Lee McQueen, who designs under the name Alexander McQueen, has passed. He was supposed to show his 2nd line, McQ today at NY fashion week, which has now been cancelled. His designs were captivating and magical...He will definitely be missed! xo, B

I Run this Town

Finding the perfect running shoes can be the most difficult task...but when you actually find the perfect pair I think it completely improves your performance at the gym. I know it sounds totally vain, but when you feel good you perform better. It is the one piece that you wear to the gym everyday, so it is the piece that the rest of your outfit is built around. I've loved my Nike Shox the past couple years even though I've grown up on New Balance 990s. Nikes have way more swagger to them with the styles and colors over the New Bs. The above kicks are the Nike Lunar Swifts...I'm not a huge pink fan, but love the colored soles, like the Nike Lunar Glides pictured below. I love the color combo of the Lunar Glides...neons are hot...and I think these will be my new shoes. Only because white is not my fave, and they don't match my go to black Nike capris pants, that you will always see me in at the gym...I own like four pairs! Loves it, B

Dumpling Grubbing

My work homies and I made a treck out to Prosperity Dumplings for a cheap and delicious lunch. The Russian at work had been talking about this place for the past month, so we decided to shut him up and go...and it was well worth it! My fave are the pork fried dumplings, but my staple would be the vegetable boiled dumplings, light and tasty and not as greasy as the pork. But you definitely need to ask for the rooster sauce on the side if you take your order to go, dumplings aren't complete without some hot sauce! Of course I had to also try their sesame pancake with vegetables, which is super filling and reminds me of a vietnamese sandwich with the carrots and cilantro inside. And my least fave were the pork fried buns...way too greasy and dense for my liking. But all in all this mass amount of food only cost me $5! And there was way too much for one person...an order of veggie dumplings for $2 would be perf! My tummy is happy! xo, B

Menu, double click and you can actually read it! lol

So Purdy

I'm so excited for the March issue of Vanity Fair! Annie Leibovitz shot my new fave Carey Mulligan!...along with Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone, Mia Wasikowska, Anna Kendrick, Rebecca Hall and Evan Rachel Wood. These are some of my faves, and some of them are new to me...gosh I feel so old! xo, B

Aussie Cover-Girl

Love that Abbey Lee is gracing the cover of Vogue Australia's March issue. I love the surfer girl look, with the piece-y hair and colored ends and the pop of color on her lips and nails...amazing! xo, B
