Totally enjoyed my Fashion's Night Out (FNO) experience last night. Anna Wintour organized this worldwide event in 12 different countries to help revive the fashion industry from it's economic slump. Different boutiques and designer kept their stores open until 11pm to host such things as cocktails, designer appearances, and makeovers. The city was rumbling with "fashion" people all casually decked out, but they didn't try hard of course, lol. Our first stop was the boutique Opening Ceremony for their "block party" style presentation. There was a huge line just to get into the store, but they held us over with ice cream from Van Leeuwens, cookies and the Treats Truck for sweets. There were different cars parked outside for each designer displaying their FNO merchandise like, Alexander Wang, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler. It was definitely worth the wait, when we got in we were greeted with awesome music and cold Asahi beer. Enjoy the pics, there's more to come. xo, B
