The San Gannaro festival is an 11 day festival that fills the streets of Nolita with tons of food, like the "big one" that refers to a huge sausauge, all the fried goodness such as oreos, twinkies and zeppoles, and all the great jewelry and clothing vendors. It also has games and toys like a carnival with the different game vendors haggling you to play as you walk through Mulberry street. It's a fun time, and you should at least check it out once. xo, B
